What this is
Vendors on Mobile is the phone version of Vendors (the desktop /vendors page), rebuilt for a scrollable, tap-and-swipe phone screen instead of a sidebar-and-tabs layout. It is not a lighter cut of the desktop page, it carries the same content: the same KPI math, the same Explore breakdowns, the same vendor stack, and the same vendor detail sections (contract, renewal, ratings, score composition, alternatives, products, paperwork). The one structural difference is navigation: mobile has no tabs. Every vendor detail scrolls top to bottom in one continuous sheet instead of switching between tab panels.
Where to find it
Open the Business tab in the mobile app, then Vendors. The route is /m/business/vendors. A Business link at the top of the page takes you back to the Business home.
Layout at a glance
The page stacks four rows, top to bottom:
- Hero: four horizontally scrolling KPI tiles, All Vendors, Avg Score, Monthly Spend, At Risk.
- Take Action: a horizontally scrolling row of cards, an Add Vendor tile, the Ask IQ activation tile, an Unlock Vendors tile (only when data is missing), and any open decisions tied to vendors.
- Explore: five metric tiles carried over from web, All Vendors, Avg Score, Coverage, Spend, Renewals.
- Local network: appears only when Verinode has found gaps in your local-service coverage (see below).
- Most Recent: a horizontally scrolling stack of every active vendor, sorted to put what needs attention first.
Tap any tile anywhere on the page and it opens as a full-screen card. From inside that card you can swipe left or right to move to the next tile in the same row, the same way you'd flip through photos. Tap the X, tap the backdrop, or press Escape to close.
Note
Every number on this page counts active vendor relationships only. A vendor you have marked as ended or paused does not count toward any KPI, Explore tile, or the Most Recent stack.
Hero: the four KPI tiles
All Vendors
The tile shows your active vendor count as a large number, with a line underneath reading how many categories are covered, for example "6 categories covered." The support line under the tile reads the active-relationship count in words, or, if you have no vendors yet, "Add Data, drop a contract or invoice to seed your stack."
Tap it and the full card adds a Coverage block: categories covered, coverage of archetype (see Coverage below) as a percentage, and, if any exist, an essential gaps count.
Avg Score
The average Verinode Score across every scored active vendor, out of 10, shown to one decimal. If no vendor has been scored yet, this reads a dash.
Below the number is a small horizontal bar: a tick mark for your average, and P25 / P50 / P75 labels reading where your peers fall. Your dot sits green if you are ahead of the peer median, red if you are behind, copper if there is no comparison to make. The support line under the tile reads a peer delta, for example "+0.6 vs peer," or if there is no meaningful peer gap, it falls back to flagging how many vendors sit below the score threshold ("3 flagged") or "Stack healthy" if none do.
The full card adds a Distribution block breaking your scored vendors into five bands: 0.0-2.0, 2.0-4.0, 4.0-6.0, 6.0-8.0, 8.0-10.0, plus a "Vendors scored" count and a "Below threshold (< 5.0)" count.
Monthly Spend
Your total monthly spend across every active vendor with a current contract amount on file, for example "$4.2k." The line underneath reads "Across N active vendors." The support line projects an annual run-rate ("$50k/yr run-rate") when spend is present, or reads "Add invoices to track" when it is not.
The full card lists your Top Spend vendors, highest monthly amount first, up to eight rows.
At Risk
A count of active vendors scoring below 5.0 out of 10. When the count is zero the number renders muted and the line reads "All vendors performing." When it is above zero the number renders in Ember Red and the line reads "Below score threshold," with a support line prompting "Review or replace N."
The full card lists every flagged vendor by name with its score, worst first, up to twelve rows.
Take Action row
This row surfaces things to do, not things to read:
- Add Vendor, opens the vendor selection flow to bring a new vendor into your stack.
- Ask IQ, opens the AI Co-COO chat, focused on the Vendors section.
- Unlock Vendors, appears only while vendor data is thin. In its cold state it names the exact documents to forward (contracts, invoices) to seed the section; in its partial state it shows a checklist of what is already in and what is still missing. Once vendor data is sufficiently complete, this tile disappears on its own.
- Decisions, up to ten open decisions tied to vendors, each rendered as a decision tile you can open to see the recommended action and its cost of inaction. When there are no open decisions, a card reads "All Clear / No open decisions in vendors. / Verinode is watching renewals, scores, and contract changes."
Explore row
Five metric tiles, each with a small inline preview chart and a tap-through to a full detail card.
All Vendors
Same active-vendor count as the hero tile, with a sub-label reading the category count and a bar-chart preview of vendor count per category. The full card lists every category you have vendors in, most vendors first, each row showing the category name and how many vendors sit in it.
Avg Score
Mirrors the hero Avg Score tile: the number, the peer-delta sub-label, and a marker preview (your average score plotted against the peer median on a 0-100 track) when a peer comparison exists, or a distribution sparkline when it does not. The full card repeats the peer bar and the five-band score distribution from the hero tile.
Coverage
Reads the percentage of categories your operator archetype recommends that you actually have a vendor in, for example "67%." The sub-label reads the essential-gap count ("2 essential gaps") or "All essentials covered." The preview is a ring chart, colored amber (a warning tone) when essential gaps exist, neutral otherwise.
Note
"Archetype" here means the mix of vendor categories Verinode expects a restoration business of your size and shape to typically need. It is not a peer benchmark and does not compare you to other operators, it compares your current stack against Verinode's model of a complete one.
The full card breaks Coverage down two ways: a Stack Map block (categories your archetype suggests, categories you cover, and essential gaps if any), and a By Vendor Type block listing each vendor type with a covered/total fraction, for example "Water Mitigation Equipment 3/4."
Spend
Repeats the Monthly Spend hero number with the sub-label "Per month" and a distribution-chart preview of individual vendor spend amounts. The full card lists your top spenders, highest first, up to twelve rows.
Renewals
A count of contracts renewing in the next 90 days, sub-labeled "Next 90 days." The preview shows how many of those renewals fall inside the next 30 days, flagged amber if any do, green if none do.
The full card breaks the count into three windows: Within 30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days, then lists every upcoming renewal by vendor name and days remaining, soonest first, up to twelve rows.
Local network row
This row appears only when Verinode has identified gaps in local-service coverage, categories where you have no local provider on file. Each gap renders as a tile reading the category label with the support line "No provider on file." Tapping a gap tile opens a recommendation panel rather than the usual detail card. If there are no local-network gaps, this row does not render at all.
Most Recent: the vendor stack
Every active vendor renders as a tile in this row. The stack is sorted with intent, not chronologically: vendors scoring below 5.0 come first, then within that, vendors renewing soonest, then within that, highest monthly spend. In practice this means the vendor most worth your attention right now sits at the front of the row.
Each vendor tile shows:
- A colored dot and the category name (Ember Red for a low score, Hard Hat Yellow when renewal is inside 30 days, copper otherwise).
- The vendor's logo (or a fallback mark) and name.
- Its score and label, when scored, for example "Score 7.2 · Strong."
- Its monthly cost with a "/mo" suffix, when a contract amount is on file.
- A renewal countdown, "Renews in Nd," when renewal falls inside 90 days, colored red inside 30 days.
If you have no vendors yet, the row is replaced by a single line: "No vendors on file yet. Forward a contract or invoice and your stack appears here."
Vendor detail: what opens when you tap a vendor
Tapping a vendor tile opens the full detail sheet, one continuous scroll with no tabs. Every section below only renders when the underlying data is present, an incomplete vendor simply has a shorter sheet.
Header
The category name, the vendor name and logo, and, when scored, the Verinode Score out of 10 with a colored pill label (Strong in Deere Green, Solid in copper, Mixed in Hard Hat Yellow, Weak in Ember Red).
How You Compare
Two rows, each with a small peer bar:
- Satisfaction, your own rating out of 5, plotted against the peer median satisfaction for the category when Verinode has one.
- Monthly Spend, your contracted monthly amount, plotted against peer median spend for the category. For spend, lower is treated as better, so your dot reads green when you are spending less than peers, red when you are spending more.
The Contract
A row-by-row read of the commercial terms on file:
- Monthly cost, the current contract amount.
- Billing, billing frequency, humanized (for example "Monthly" or "Annual").
- Seats, the contracted seat count, when applicable.
- Cost per seat, monthly cost divided by seat count, shown only when both a cost and a seat count exist.
- Switchability, how easy Verinode judges this vendor is to switch away from, humanized.
Any row without data on file is simply omitted.
Renewal & People
- Renewal date, the contract's renewal date, with a day countdown appended when it falls in the future ("Aug 4, 2026 · 23d") or a "past due" flag when it has already passed.
- Internal owner, who on your team owns this relationship, or "Unassigned."
- Vendor contact, the vendor-side contact name and email, or "Not on file."
Ratings & Feedback
Two rating blocks:
- My rating, a live, tappable 5-star picker. Tapping a star saves your satisfaction rating for this vendor immediately, no extra confirmation step.
- Team rating, a read-only star display averaging every teammate's rating on this vendor, with the average and a response count ("4.2/5 · 6 responses"). If nobody on your team has rated the vendor yet, this reads "Team hasn't weighed in yet."
Score & Research
When the vendor has a Verinode Score, this section shows:
- Verinode Score, the score out of 10.
- Label, the tier word (Strong, Solid, Mixed, Weak).
- Confidence, how confident Verinode is in the score, humanized.
- A Provisional flag, when the score is not yet finalized, with the note "Final once council-weighted + peer-rated."
- Strongest signal, the highest-scoring dimension behind the overall score, with its own score out of 5.
- Category median, the median score across the category, with your own score's delta from it, signed.
A View composition link expands the full scoring breakdown in place:
- Every weighted scoring dimension, its weight as a percentage, its confidence level, and its score out of 5.
- Also scored in, when the vendor is also scored in secondary category lenses, each one listed with its own score and label.
- Sources & evidence, the underlying research sources behind the score (vendor website, filings, and similar), each with a confidence percentage, the extraction method, and the specific fields pulled from that source. This is the full transparency trail: nothing in a Verinode Score is a black box.
If the vendor has no score yet, this section reads: "Score forming, comes into focus as more Verinode research data flows in on this vendor."
Alternatives
Up to eight catalog vendors in the same category, ranked by research score, each with its score and a short reason for the comparison. This section only appears once Verinode has alternatives to show.
Products
When the vendor has specific products or services on file, each is listed by name with its product category, humanized.
Paperwork
Every document Verinode has matched to this vendor: contracts, invoices, and similar, each showing the document type, its date, and its total amount when parsed. Rows are sorted as loaded from the vendor's document history.
Empty states, in full
- No vendors at all: the All Vendors hero reads 0 with support "Add Data, drop a contract or invoice to seed your stack"; the Most Recent row is replaced with "No vendors on file yet. Forward a contract or invoice and your stack appears here."
- No score yet on a vendor: the vendor detail's Score & Research section reads "Score forming, comes into focus as more Verinode research data flows in on this vendor."
- No scoring composition available: inside an expanded composition, "Composition not available yet, Verinode is still gathering research signals on this vendor."
- No team ratings: "Team hasn't weighed in yet."
- No open decisions: "All Clear / No open decisions in vendors. / Verinode is watching renewals, scores, and contract changes."
- No spend on file: the Monthly Spend hero support line reads "Add invoices to track."
- No local-network gaps: the Local network row does not render.
How to use this page
Start at the Hero row: Avg Score and At Risk tell you in two taps whether your vendor stack is healthy or has a fire to put out. If At Risk is above zero, tap it, work down the flagged list, and open the worst vendor's detail sheet to see whether the score is a genuine performance problem (check Score & Research) or a data gap (check whether research signals exist at all).
Then check Renewals in Explore: anything inside 30 days is worth a look before it auto-renews on terms you'd rather renegotiate. Open the vendor, read The Contract and How You Compare, and if spend looks high against the peer line, check Alternatives before you renew.
Coverage is the slower-moving read: it tells you where your stack has a structural hole (an essential category with no vendor at all) rather than a performance problem with a vendor you already have. The Local network row and the Add Vendor tile in Take Action are the two on-ramps for closing that kind of gap.
