What the Profile Bio generator is
The Profile Bio generator is a small, single-purpose tool tucked inside Reputation: it writes a warm, ready-to-paste business bio, an "About your company" blurb, built from your own company details, so you can drop it straight onto your Google Business Profile description, your Trustpilot page, or any other review platform that asks for a business summary. It is not one of Verinode's reputation decisions and it does not count against the Findings tab's decision total, it is a writing tool. You click Generate, read the result, copy it, and paste it wherever you need it. Verinode never posts on your behalf and doesn't store the output as a record you come back to edit: every time you open the tool, you're generating fresh.
Where to find it
Open Reputation from the sidebar, at iq.verinode.ai/reputation. In the Take Action row (the second row on the Reputation home page), a Profile Bio tile sits right after the agent activation tile, ahead of any of Verinode's actual reputation decisions. Click it to open the generator deck.
The deck opens as the same translucent overlay slider used across the platform, on top of the Reputation home page you're already looking at. It has two tabs across the top:
- Overview, a short orientation with a sample bio so you know what you're about to get.
- Generate a bio, where the real work happens.
Clicking the Profile Bio tile opens the deck already scoped to Generate a bio, so you land straight on the working tab rather than the overview. Close the deck the same way as any overlay on the platform: press Escape, or click the backdrop outside it.
The Overview tab
Overview is orientation, not a working screen. It reads:
- What this is: "Generate a warm, ready-to-paste business bio."
- Why it matters: "A strong profile bio helps customers pick you on Google and the review sites."
- What you'll get: a sample bio, marked with a copper Sample badge in the corner, category "Profile bio" over the title "About your company," three example lines in a warm, first-person-plural voice (a family-run team, water/fire/mold work handled fast and communicated clearly, licensed and trusted by carriers and adjusters), and a footer reading "v1 · Ready to paste." Underneath, a caption spells out that this is only an example: "Example bio. Yours is written from your own business details."
There's nothing else to click here. It exists purely so you know what a finished bio looks like before you generate your own.
The Generate a bio tab
This is the tool itself. At the top, a line of plain context sets expectations: "A short, warm bio for your Google Business Profile and review pages, written from what we know about your business."
If your profile is thin. If Verinode doesn't yet have your company name or a service mix on file, a line appears above the button: "We'll write a better bio once your company name and service mix are on file. You can still generate a starting point." This isn't a hard gate, the button still works and will produce a starting draft, but it leans more generic until your company name and services are on file.
Generating. Click Generate a bio. Once a bio is already on screen, the same button relabels to Regenerate, so a second click always makes a fresh pass rather than reusing the last one. While Verinode writes, the button shows a loading state. When it lands, the bio appears directly above the button inside a bordered block, with the line breaks Verinode wrote preserved exactly.
Copying. A second button, Copy, appears only once a bio exists, next to Generate/Regenerate. Click it to copy the exact text to your clipboard, the label flips to Copied as confirmation. Clicking Regenerate clears that confirmation (and the underlying copied state) until you copy the new version.
If something goes wrong. If generation fails, whether from a momentary AI outage or a transient error, the line reads: "Could not generate a bio right now. Try again." If your browser blocks clipboard access on the Copy click, the line reads: "Copy failed. Select the text and copy it manually." Either way, whatever bio you already generated stays on screen, so a failed copy or a failed retry never loses the draft you have.
What goes into the bio
Verinode writes from four fields on your company profile: company name, service mix (the services you list, for example water, fire, and mold), city and state, and years in business. Where a field is missing, Verinode writes around the gap rather than guessing, using "a restoration company" in place of a missing name and leaving out the experience line entirely when years in business isn't set.
Where you've had an onboarding conversation with Verinode about your business, the bio generator also draws on what you shared there, so a real detail from that conversation can surface as something specific instead of boilerplate. This only happens where that context exists, and the result never mentions Verinode or the conversation itself, it reads as your own words, in your own voice.
By design, the finished bio:
- runs roughly 150 to 200 words
- is written in first person plural ("we")
- names your core services as natural, search-friendly phrasing
- names your service area
- calls out 24/7 emergency availability
- closes with a call to action to call you
- favors specifics tied to restoration work over generic filler like "trusted experts" or "quality service"
Note
The bio isn't saved anywhere in Verinode. If a version reads well, copy it immediately: generating again replaces what's on screen, and there's no history to recover an earlier draft from.
How to use it
- 1Open Reputation from the sidebar, then click the Profile Bio tile in the Take Action row.
- 2Skim the Overview tab for the sample so you know what a finished bio should look like, then move to Generate a bio (or let the tile take you there directly).
- 3Click Generate a bio and wait for the block to fill in.
- 4Read it. If it's thin or generic, click Regenerate, an incomplete company profile is the usual cause.
- 5Click Copy, then paste the result into your Google Business Profile description, your Trustpilot bio, or any other platform's "About" field.
