Overview
Most of the Margin page is the same for everyone on your account. One part is not: adjuster scorecards are held tighter than the rest of the page. This article explains the roles Verinode recognizes, which of them can see adjuster scorecards, and what a role without access sees instead. It documents only what the platform actually enforces.
For the numbers themselves, start with understanding your margin.
The roles on your account
Verinode recognizes three operator-side roles. Each account has exactly one:
- Admin, manages billing, invites and removes memberships, and edits company settings, plus everything a user can do.
- User, the everyday operator working with IQ: acts on decisions, chats with IQ, uploads documents, exports, and views financials and intelligence.
- Data contributor, forwards emails, uploads documents, and views their own ingestion. A data contributor feeds the data pipe but does not consume the intelligence: no decisions, no benchmarks, no IQ chat.
Note
If you remember older role names like owner, manager, member, or viewer, those were consolidated. An owner is now an admin; manager, member, and viewer are now a user. You will only ever see the three roles above.
Adjuster scorecards are operator-private
Adjuster scorecards rank the individual adjusters you work with by how much of your estimate they approve and the margin their decisions cost you. That analysis is built from your own supplement and payment records, and it stays yours. It is operator-private, never shared to the network, never shown to peers, and never sold to carriers. Because it names specific people and is sensitive, Verinode gates who on your account can open it.
Who can see them
Access to adjuster scorecards is limited to two roles:
- Admin, full access.
- User, full access.
A data contributor does not have access to adjuster scorecards. (A data contributor also cannot view financials or intelligence more broadly, so this is consistent with the rest of that role.)
This gate is enforced in two places on the Margin page:
- 1On the Margin home, the Adjusters tile appears in the Explore row only for admin and user accounts. For any other role the tile is simply not rendered, there is no locked or blurred placeholder.
- 2In the Margin detail slider, the Adjusters tab is gated the same way, including the previous and next navigation between adjusters.
What a role without access sees
An account without access does not see adjuster data quietly hidden behind a paywall blur. It sees either nothing (the Explore tile is absent) or, on the Adjusters tab of the detail slider, a plain note explaining that the surface is operator-private and that the current role does not have access. Nothing about any specific adjuster is exposed to a role that is not permitted.
Heads up
This is a role gate, not a tier gate. It is about who inside your account may open adjuster scorecards, not about your membership tier. Every permitted role sees the full scorecard; a data contributor sees none of it, regardless of tier.
To read the scorecards themselves once you have access, see adjuster scorecards.
Data sources
Data sources
- 1.Your supplement and payment records. Your business.
- 2.Your estimates and invoices. Your business.
Adjuster scorecards are built entirely from your own data and stay operator-private. Verinode is an independent data trust, your operator data is never sold to carriers.
