A finding is an artifact, not a message
The reason an HQ app exists at all, instead of a chat thread, is that its finding is kept. Every run of Network Review, Franchisee Health, Program Negotiation, or Recruitment Story lands as a saved, titled result that belongs to your network: dated, reopenable, pinnable, and exportable. This article covers the three places a saved finding shows up and what you can do with it.
Your previous runs, on the start screen
Open any HQ app you have run before and the card does not open on a pitch. A strip titled Your previous runs sits at the top of the start screen, listing your most recent results: each row shows the result's title, its one-line summary, and when it finished, "Today," "Yesterday," "3d ago," and eventually the date. A run still in flight shows Working; one that failed shows Did not finish. Tapping any row reopens that result in the card.
After your first few runs, the first-time explanation and the worked example retire from the start screen entirely, and the strip plus the run button are the whole screen: what you have, and the one control to get more.
The Past analyses tab
Once at least one result exists, the app's card grows a second tab, Past analyses, with a count. This is the durable home for everything the app has ever produced for your network, newest first, with pinned results held at the top of the list. The tab deliberately does not exist before your first run, so a first-time user is never shown an empty log in front of the tool.
Reopening a past result is free, on every visit. You are re-reading a saved finding, not paying to run it again, and since HQ runs are free in the first place, there is no metering anywhere in the loop.
Pinning
Every finished result carries a Pin control at its top right, reading Pinned once set. A pinned result sorts to the top of the app's lists, which is the right home for the finding you keep returning to: the quarterly read you presented to the board, the program review that anchored a renewal. Pinning is instant and reversible, and if the save ever fails, the card says so plainly rather than silently springing the control back.
Exporting as a PDF
Under every finished finding sit two controls: Talk this through with IQ, which opens the analyst conversation seeded with the result so you can ask why or challenge a conclusion, and Export as PDF, which downloads the finding as a document without leaving the result. The helper line under them says it best: the PDF carries what the analysis covers, so it still makes sense to someone who was not here.
The export renders exactly the finding that was saved, headings, tables, and lists intact, on a clean printable letterhead that names the document for what it is ("Network Review," "Program Negotiation review") over the result's own title. Your network's name is carried as the customer on the document. Exporting never re-runs anything and never charges anything: the document on paper and the finding on screen can never disagree, because they are the same saved result.
A run that has not finished cannot be exported; the export waits for a complete finding rather than producing an authoritative-looking document with nothing in it.
Note
Two known limitations, stated plainly. First, the exported PDF currently carries the Verinode IQ mark in its letterhead and footer rather than an HQ mark; your network's name is on the document, but the product lockup reads IQ. This is cosmetic and does not affect the finding. Second, if a run is cut off before it finishes, for example the browser tab closes mid-run on mobile, the result row can remain stuck showing "Working" indefinitely instead of resolving to failed. If a run has shown Working for far longer than the usual minute or two, start a fresh run; the stuck row is inert and nothing was lost from it.
Where results live, and who can see them
Saved findings are stored keyed to your network. They are visible to your HQ team, invisible to every other network, and invisible to your locations: a franchisee's or member's own IQ account has no window into HQ's run history. The full trust picture is in what an HQ app can and cannot read.
Best-practice example
In April you run Program Negotiation ahead of a carrier renewal and pin the finding. Over the next two quarters you run it twice more. In October, preparing the actual negotiation, you open Past analyses and read all three side by side: the April finding named two terms leaving margin on the table, and the October one shows one closed and one still open. You export the October PDF, and that document, dated and specific, is what goes into the renewal folder.
