What this section is on a phone

Industry Data is the published record: what the wider restoration market is doing, according to sources that are not you and not your peers. It is the sibling of Benchmarks, and the two split by where the numbers come from. Benchmarks is what the network knows because operators contribute it. Industry Data is what someone else already published.

Nothing here is gated, and nothing here is yours. Your business never appears in these numbers, is never mixed into them, and is never sold.

Where to find it

Open the Business menu and tap Industry Data, one row under Benchmarks in the Intelligence group. A floating pill at the top of the screen carries three tabs. Tap a tab, or swipe left and right across the page, to move between them.

The three tabs

• Conditions: the market's own published series, grouped the way an operator cares about them.
• Analyst Reports: Verinode Research briefs, shown as cover cards. Tap one to read it in a detail deck.
• News: industry news, with an "in your stack" marker on items about vendors you already use.

The Conditions tab

This tab is new to the phone. Until August 2026 the published series were readable only on the web, even though mobile Forecasting pointed at them, so the pointer went nowhere on a device.

It opens with an Out of norm strip: up to three series that are currently outside their normal band, or moving hardest if none are. That strip reads across every category at once, so what moved reaches you without having to know which group it lives in. If more than one region has published series, a Region control sits above it; it opens on National.

Below that, series are grouped into six labeled sections, in operator-relevance order:

Tap any series to open its detail deck: the current value, the period it is as of, the change across the trend, its normal range when one is defined, the named public source, and the methodology. Where the source publishes online, the deck carries a link straight to it.

What this section will not tell you

Conditions shows you that construction wages moved or that claims frequency is up. It does not tell you what to do about it. That read, scoped to your book and your region, is what Forecasting is for, and every series here points there.

Empty states

• No series at all: "Industry conditions will appear here as the public series connect."
• A region with nothing published: "No [region] series yet. Try National."

An empty tab here means the series has not published. It never means you have not earned it.

How to navigate
