What is different on mobile

The mobile Benchmarks surface carries the same intelligence as the web version, rebuilt for a phone. The data is the same peer bands, the same ratings, the same carrier and TPA reads. What changes is the layout: a floating tab pill instead of a wide sidebar, stacked tiles instead of dense grids, and full screen detail decks you swipe through instead of side panels.

If you already know the web Benchmarks section, everything you rely on is here. It is just arranged for one thumb.

The four tabs

A floating pill sits at the top of the screen with four tabs. Tap a tab, or swipe left and right across the page, to move between them:

  • Benchmarks: your peer comparison across the metric categories, plus your Operator Score.
  • Ratings: peer rated vendors, processes, and equipment, Verinode scored vendors, and the Carriers & TPAs league.
  • Analyst Reports: research briefs, shown as feed cards.
  • News: industry news, with an "in your stack" marker on items about vendors you use.

Tip

You do not have to reach for the pill. A short horizontal swipe across the page moves you to the next or previous tab. Swiping is turned off while a detail deck is open, so the deck's own swipe to page through items takes over.

The Benchmarks tab

The Benchmarks tab opens with your Operator Score card: your score out of 100, the year over year change when there is one, and your cohort percentile ("Top X% in cohort," or "Cohort percentile forming" while it builds).

Below that are two controls that reshape who you are compared against:

  • Scope picker: switch between your network, Regional, and National cohorts. The peer bands re-resolve to match.
  • Operators like you: a toggle that re-scopes every metric to operators in your own health band, when that comparison is available.

Then come the metric categories (Profitability, Cash, Cost, Productivity, Safety, and more), each a short section of tiles laid two across. Featured tiles run full width and carry a peer bar with the P25, P50, and P75 markers and a dot for your own value. Tap any tile to open its detail deck.

Before you have fed a metric, its tile shows the industry typical or peer typical value, muted, with an "add data" prompt, so the board is useful from day one and fills in as your data flows in.

Inside a metric

Tapping a tile opens a full screen detail deck. It shows the metric name and your value, the peer bar again, and a How You Compare block with the peer median, your cohort size, the industry baseline, and the research source behind it. Where the metric supports it, a Compare by Cohort control filters by peril or property type, and a Methodology section explains how the number is built.

The Ratings tab

The Ratings tab leads with the Carriers & TPAs league: a leaders ribbon of standout counterparties, a Rank by control to pick the lens (pushback, approval, days to pay, peer rating, or trust), and a filter for All, Carriers, or TPAs. Each row shows that one metric with a bar and the peer median tick. Tap a row to open the full carrier or TPA profile, the same denial and line item pushback read you get on the web.

Below the league:

  • A Stack Gaps callout, when there are any, flagging categories where peers with a vendor outperform peers without one.
  • A search box and filter chips (All, Vendors, Processes, Equipment, and Verinode Score) over a single ranked list of everything rated.

Tap any result to open its detail deck. To learn how the ratings themselves work, see Peer ratings and reviews.

Analyst Reports and News

  • Analyst Reports presents research briefs as feed cards. Tap one to read it in a detail deck.
  • News lists industry news items. Items about a vendor, carrier, or TPA already in your stack carry an "in your stack" marker so the relevant ones stand out. Tap an item to open the full story.

Empty states

The mobile surface tells you what is coming rather than showing blank space:

  • Ratings list, nothing yet: "Ratings + scores fill in as the catalog grows and peers leave reviews."
  • Ratings search with no match: "No matches. Try a different search or filter."
  • A league row with no cohort: "No cohort," meaning the network does not have enough peers on that client yet.
  • Operator Score still forming: "Cohort percentile forming."

How to navigate

  1. 1Open Benchmarks on the mobile app.
  2. 2Tap a tab in the floating pill, or swipe left or right, to move between Benchmarks, Ratings, Analyst Reports, and News.
  3. 3On Benchmarks, set your scope and, if you want, the "Operators like you" toggle, then tap a metric tile to open its deck.
  4. 4On Ratings, pick a Rank by lens for the league, or search and filter the full list, then tap through to a profile or detail deck.
  5. 5Inside a deck, swipe left or right to page through the other items of the same kind, or close it to return to the tab.

Note

Mobile shows the same peer intelligence as the web, built on the same independent data trust. Peer numbers are anonymized and pooled across operators like you, and operator data is never sold to carriers.
