What it is

The Events section on mobile HQ is the phone version of the association events rollup: a hero row of four numbers plus two flat lists, showing what's coming up on your association's event calendar, how registrations are tracking, and how well past events have turned out. It is read-only intelligence, not an event-management tool. Verinode does not create events, send invitations, or manage registrations here; it reflects the events and registration records your association already runs, so leadership can see the picture in one place.

This page reads the exact same group-scoped rollup as the web Events page in the franchise portal. Both surfaces call the same underlying calculation over the same event and registration records for your association, so the hero numbers and list contents on mobile match what you'd see on the web page at the same moment. Only the layout differs: one scrollable hero row instead of a wide panel, and two compact lists instead of horizontally scrolling tiles.

Note

Events is an association-native surface. It's built for organizations that run membership programs (regional associations, industry groups, and similar networks), not for individual franchise systems. If your network isn't set up as an association, you won't see an Events entry in HQ mobile at all.

Where to find it

Open the HQ mobile app and use the section list. Under the association group of entries you'll find Events, with the subtitle "Upcoming events, registrations, attendance." Tap it to open the page; the top bar reads "Events" while you're on it.

The mobile app runs on a single origin, so unlike the web product, HQ mobile pages don't cross to a separate address, they load in place inside the same app you use for the rest of HQ mobile.

On the web side, the same rollup lives at hq.verinode.ai/events, reached from the HQ sidebar entry labeled Events.

The boundary between "upcoming" and "past" is drawn at the moment you open the page, not from a cached snapshot, so the two lists and the hero numbers always reflect the current time when you load them.

The four hero cards

At the top of the page, a horizontal scroll row titled "Events" carries four cards. Swipe to see all four.

  • Upcoming. The count of events scheduled in the future, captioned "Events scheduled ahead." The support line underneath names the next one by date, for example "Next Jul 20, 2026," or reads "None scheduled" if nothing is on the calendar. (The event's name and location aren't repeated on this card; you'll see both in the Upcoming events list right below.)
  • Registrations. The total number of registrations across every upcoming event combined, captioned "Across upcoming events." Cancelled registrations are never counted here.
  • Attendance. The average share of registered members who actually attended, calculated across past events, captioned "Attended of registered, past events." Each past event's own attendance rate is averaged evenly, so one unusually large event doesn't skew the number. This card reads in a positive tone once the rate reaches 70% or higher; below that it reads in a neutral tone. If there's no past-event data yet, the card shows a dash.
  • Next Event Fill. How full the next upcoming event is, as a percentage of its registrations against its stated capacity, captioned "Registrations vs capacity." If the next event has no capacity set, or there is no next event, this card shows a dash.

Upcoming events

Below the hero row, the Upcoming events list is captioned "Scheduled ahead" and shows up to eight future events, soonest first. Each row shows:

  • The event name.
  • A line combining the event date and its location, separated by a middle dot when a location is set (for example, "Jul 20, 2026 · Denver, CO"); if no location is on file, only the date shows.
  • The number of registrations on the right, with the label "registered" underneath.

Empty state: "No upcoming events. They will appear here as your association schedules them."

Recent events

Below that, the Recent events list is captioned "Turnout on past events" and shows up to eight past events, most recent first. Each row shows:

  • The event name.
  • The same date-and-location line as the Upcoming list.
  • The number who attended on the right, with the label "attended" underneath.

Empty state: "No past events yet."

Tip

Neither list is tappable on this page. It's a summary read, not a drill-in to a single event's registrant list. If you need the underlying detail for a specific event, that lives in whatever tool your association uses to run registration for that event.

How to use it

Events on mobile is built for a quick check between meetings, not day-to-day event operations:

  • Scan the hero row first: is anything upcoming, how many registrations does it have, and is attendance trending in a healthy range.
  • Use Upcoming events to see everything on the calendar at a glance and spot an event that might need more promotion before it happens.
  • Use Recent events as a turnout record: a running log of how many people showed up relative to how many signed up, across your event history.
  • Watch the Attendance card over time as a signal of member engagement with your event program overall, rather than reading any single event's turnout in isolation.

Because this page is read-only, there's nothing to edit here. It reflects what has already been scheduled and recorded elsewhere.

The privacy boundary

Verinode HQ's general rule is that leadership sees network aggregates and compliance, never a single membership's private day-to-day business data. Events follows that rule the same way the web Events page does: what you see here is your association's own event and registration activity, rolled up for the people responsible for running the program. It is not benchmarked against, or shared with, other networks.

This page also never lists which specific memberships registered or attended a given event, only the counts. Registrant-level detail, if your association needs it for a specific event, stays in whatever registration tool your team used to run that event; it doesn't surface here.
