What this is

The dues-current health hero is the top panel on the Dues & Renewal page in Verinode HQ. It gives your association leadership a single, at-a-glance read on membership standing: what share of your roster is paid up, how many memberships have lapsed, how many are coming up for renewal, and how large your roster is overall.

This page is available to association-type HQ workspaces. If your workspace isn't structured as an association (for example, a corporate multi-location franchise HQ), you won't see this entry in your sidebar.

Where to find it

Open the HQ sidebar and select Dues & Renewal (hq.verinode.ai/dues). The hero panel loads at the top of the page automatically. Two tile rows sit underneath it, Renewals Due and Recently Lapsed, which are covered in their own articles linked below.

The headline percentage

The large number in the hero is your dues-current percentage, labeled "Dues current." It's the share of your roster marked as paid and in good standing, calculated by dividing the number of Current members by your total roster count and rounding to the nearest whole percent.

Directly under the percentage is a pill showing the raw counts behind it, for example "42 of 50 paid." If you haven't imported a roster yet, the pill reads "No roster imported yet" instead, and the hero shows no percentage.

Below the pill, a line of supporting text breaks the roster down further, for example:

42 current · 3 in grace period · 2 lapsed · 3 pending.

The "pending" segment only appears when at least one member has no dues status recorded yet, so a fully-classified roster will show just the current, grace period, and lapsed counts.

Dues status labels

Every member on your roster carries one of four dues states, always shown in Title Case on screen:

| Label shown | Meaning | |---|---| | Current | Dues paid and in good standing | | Grace Period | Past the due date but inside your association's grace window | | Lapsed | Past due and outside the grace window | | Pending | No dues status recorded yet for this member |

The color tone

The hero's headline color and pill tone shift based on how healthy the dues-current percentage is, using the same three-tone signal language you'll see across HQ:

  • Expand (green), dues-current percentage is 90% or higher. Your membership base is in strong standing.
  • Maintain (yellow), dues-current percentage is between 75% and 89%. Worth keeping an eye on, but not urgent.
  • Analyse (red), dues-current percentage is below 75%. A meaningful share of your roster needs follow-up.
  • Neutral (gray), no percentage to show yet, because no roster has been imported.

These thresholds are fixed and apply the same way regardless of your association's size.

The three secondary tiles

Underneath the headline, three smaller tiles give context beyond the single percentage:

Lapsed Shows your current count of lapsed members. When that count is above zero, the sub-line reads "Members past due" and the tile takes on the Analyse (red) tone as a nudge to act. When it's zero, the sub-line reads "All members in good standing" and the tile shows the Expand (green) tone.

Renewals due 90d Shows how many memberships have a renewal date falling within the next 90 days. This count only includes upcoming renewals, not memberships that are already past due (those show up under Lapsed instead). When one or more of those renewals falls within the next 30 days, the sub-line calls that out specifically, for example "5 within 30 days," and the tile takes on the Maintain (yellow) tone. If nothing is due that soon, the sub-line just reads "Next 90 days" in a neutral tone.

Members Shows your total roster count, with the sub-line "On the association roster." This tile always displays in a neutral tone since it's a simple count, not a health signal.

How to use it

Treat the hero as your first stop each time you open the page:

  1. Glance at the headline color first. Green means the roster is healthy; yellow or red means it's worth a closer look.
  2. Check the Lapsed tile. A red tile with members past due is your cue to scroll down to the Recently Lapsed row and follow up directly.
  3. Check the Renewals Due tile. A yellow tile with renewals inside 30 days means outreach now can prevent those memberships from lapsing next.
  4. Use the Members tile as a sanity check that your roster count matches what you expect, especially right after a roster import.
  1. 1Open Dues & Renewal from the HQ sidebar.
  2. 2Read the headline percentage and its color tone for an overall health read.
  3. 3Scan the three secondary tiles for lapsed, near-term renewals, and roster size.
  4. 4If Lapsed or Renewals Due is flagged, scroll to the matching tile row below the hero to see which members are affected.

Empty state

If your association hasn't imported a roster yet, the hero shows no percentage. The pill reads "No roster imported yet," and the supporting text reads "Membership status will appear as roster and dues data flows in." All three secondary tiles still render, showing zero counts until roster data arrives.

Tip

If the hero has been sitting on "No roster imported yet" longer than expected, confirm your roster import has completed. Once member records are in place with dues status and renewal dates, the hero recalculates automatically the next time the page loads.

Heads up

The dues-current percentage and the Lapsed and Renewals Due counts reflect the dues status and renewal dates recorded on your roster. If a member's paperwork was updated outside Verinode and hasn't been reflected on the roster yet, the hero will lag until that update flows in.
