The Analyst Reports tab is where Verinode Research publications live inside the product. It carries the Restoration Software Intelligence Reports and the field analysis our research team writes about the tools, vendors, and operating patterns of the restoration trade. It is the same body of work published at research.verinode.ai, brought into Benchmarks so you can read it next to your own numbers.
Open Benchmarks and select Analyst Reports from the row of tabs at the top. The subtitle reads "Restoration Software Intelligence Reports and field analysis from Verinode Research."
What you are looking at
Everything on this tab is written by Verinode Research. It is independent editorial work, not vendor marketing and not a sales pitch. Two kinds of publication appear here:
- Reports are the flagship Restoration Software Intelligence Reports, the deep, numbered issues that take a category apart end to end.
- Editorial is shorter field analysis: single-topic pieces on a vendor, a workflow, or a pattern our team has been tracking.
Because Verinode is an independent data trust, the research is written to be useful to operators first. It is never produced for, or sold to, carriers. See How Verinode stays independent for the full boundary.
How the tab is laid out
The newest publication sits at the top as a full-width cover. If a Report exists it takes that spot; otherwise the most recent editorial piece leads. The header band carries the Verinode Research wordmark and a "Most Recent" label, and the footer shows the publication year, the title, a one-line summary, the reading time, and an access pill if the piece is gated.
Below the lead cover, the rest of the library is split into two labelled grids:
- Reports, Restoration Software Intelligence collects the remaining reports.
- Editorial, Field Analysis collects the remaining shorter pieces.
Each item is a portrait cover card: the cream Verinode Research band on top, a photo, the copper, cream, and purple stripe, then a dark footer with the category, title, and summary. An access pill in the top corner tells you whether a piece is open to everyone or reserved for a paid tier.
Opening and reading a report
- 1Tap any cover, lead or grid, to open the reader.
- 2The reader opens over the page with the cover, the title, the author, and the reading time.
- 3Read the synopsis at the top (the copper-edged intro), then the full body below it.
- 4If the piece cites data, a Sources tab appears next to the Report or Article tab. Switch to it for the numbered citations, each with its publisher and, where relevant, a link and the date accessed.
- 5Use the arrows or swipe to move to the next publication without leaving the reader.
Our research methodology requires at least two independent publishers behind any synthesized claim, which is why the Sources tab matters: it is the audit trail behind the analysis, not a formality.
Who can read what
Access is set per publication, not per tab. Every signed-up operator sees the full Analyst Reports library and can open most pieces. Three access levels exist:
- Public and Member pieces are readable by everyone who has an account, on any tier.
- Premium pieces (marked with a Premium pill) are the paid research. They open in full on the Executive and Premier tiers, and for Founder-cohort members.
If you are on the free Contributor tier and open a Premium piece, you get the synopsis plus a short teaser, then an upgrade panel: "Read the full report. Premium Restoration Software Intelligence Reports and field analysis unlock at the Executive tier," with an Upgrade to read button. The full text of a Premium piece is withheld at the server before it ever reaches your browser, so this is a real access boundary, not a blur you can defeat. Raw research access in full is part of what a Premier membership includes. See Membership tiers explained for what each tier unlocks.
Note
The access pill and the upgrade panel only appear on Premium pieces. Public and Member research never shows a pill and always opens in full.
How this connects to Industry News
Analyst Reports is the library. The Industry News tab is the feed. When a Verinode Research publication is tied to a news item, that item carries a "Read the full research, members only" link that jumps you straight here to the matching report. So a headline in the feed and the report behind it are two views of the same work.
When the tab is empty
Before any research has been published to your environment, the tab shows a single message: "No published research yet, Restoration Software Intelligence Reports and field analysis land here as Verinode Research publishes them." New publications appear here automatically as they go live; nothing on this tab is something you create.
